  Yama Warashi

  Yama Warashi play japanese-influenced songs about nature, mushrooms, tangled relationships of humans and moon phases. Check out their live video, recorded here at Music APE Studios. They are signed to amazing Bristol-based label Stolen Body Records

  Kirk Fletcher

  Widely considered one of the best blues guitarists, Kirk Fletcher has commanded the respect and acclaim of critics, peers and fans across the world. We were honoured to work with him and some of the UK's best session musicians in the run-up to his 2017 UK tour.

  Ushti Baba

  Ushti Baba play riotous Gypsy-Folk with hypnotic trans-European melodies and Jungle rhythms. Their new album 'Wake Up Daddy!', is gaining national attention due to repeated plays on BBC 6 Music and local radio nationwide. It was recorded, mixed and mastered by Francis Forbes-Edwards and Hauke Moxon-Riedlin at Music APE

  Binbag Wisdom

  This acoustic four-piece have been gaining fast traction since their inception, delivering their unique take on jazz-hop and combining insightful lyricism with downtempo hip-hop grooves. Their latest video 'My Turn' was recorded and filmed live, here at Music APE.

  Mr Tea and the Minions

  Festival favourites Mr Tea and the Minions had their latest album Mutiny mixed at Music APE by resident producer Francis Forbes. An energetic blend of Balkan, Ska, Dub and Swing.

  Crinkle Cuts

  Crinkle Cuts are a Bristol based 7-piece playing an energetic mix of tantric funk, smooth reggae and new-wave latin ska. Their highly anticipated debut album The Pleasure Is All Yours was four years in the making and was tracked between Music APE Studios and Monnow Valley Studios.

  Evil Usses

  Death Jazz? 80s Synth Pop? Trippy Phsyc-out? All are represented by the amazing genre-defying Evil Usses. Watch their performance at the Music APE Sessions here. The Evil Usses are signed to Stolen Body Records.

  The May Kings

  Fresh on the scene, The May Kings were formed in mid 2019 and have been delivering their soulful sounds to audiences around the country since. Their self-titled EP was recorded and produced here at Music APE by resident producer Francis Forbes-Edwards, have a listen here.
